Meet Rachel

HI!  My name is Rachel!  Thanks so much for stopping by and visiting.  I really appreciate you taking the time to read my blog, and please know that I read each and every comment, and make a sincere effort to reply to them.

I am 26 years  old and have been happily married for almost 7 years.  My husband and I live in a small town in Oregon.  We bought a house last year and are trying our best to make the yard presentable, which is pretty dang hard since we have no extra money.

My husband and me (he doesn’t like me to put his picture on the internet, so I make sure he is blurred out)

I am a conservative Christian and try to put God first, but don’t always succeed at that.  I am also a wannabe hippie.  Which basically means that I do weird things like use “mama cloth”, but I still love to drink soda and eat McDonald’s.

I have a mini daycare at my house.  I used to watch 3 kids, but now I just watch one little girl, and a few other kids sporadically.  I love doing daycare, it lets me have little kids in the house all week, but still sleep in on the weekends.  I do really want kids of my own, but in the years of trying nothing has happened, so I try to be content with what I have.  If you click on the following link, you can read my infertility story.

I am not a super awesome writer, but I really enjoy writing, and hope you enjoy reading what I write.  I also hope that I can help other people who are going through infertility know that other people are going through it with them.  Something that I would love to do (but fail miserably at) is write really great posts on Biblical topics, but I am prone to rambling when I try.
